The City Where I Live

I am living in Aberdeen , Scotland. This is one of the important and very old city's in UK. The city has other names such as "Granite city and Oil Capital of Europe". There are many oil companies in Aberdeen which supplies oil to UK and most parts of Europe. There are more than ten Castles in and around Aberdeen. There are two universities, University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University and some colleges. University of Aberdeen is the 3rd oldest university in uk. Aberdeen's population is of 212,125, Aberdeen is a thriving, cosmopolitan port in the North-east of Scotland. There are nearly 10 museums which are really informative to all the ages of people. The climate of Aberdeen is cold in winter and somewhat warmer in summer. The above picture is the night view of Aberdeen city centre.
The above picture shows the view of the beach and the entry place for the ships into the port.

During the month of december, january, february and march there will be heavy snowfall in aberdeen which is enjoyable for the youths and kids, not for the old people since the roads platforms become slippery. The above picture taken during christmas.
The people who visit Aberdeen shop in the malls namely, Bon Accord centre, St.Nicholas shopping centre, Trinity shopping centre, Aberdeen market, etc. The above street(Union Street) is one of the major and crowded street's in Aberdeen where shopping is done.

Trip to The Royal Familes holiday home in scotland

Myself and my friend at Balmoral Castle in Scotland which is a holiday home for the Royal family. This place was really nice and beautiful.
This is the part of the big garden in the Balmoral castle which looks beautiful. You will enjoy it when you visit the place.

The statue in the above picture is of Prince Albert. This statue was kept after the death of Prince Albert in his memory.

The picture shows a place called Loch Muick loch means Lake Muick . Queen Victoria used to go for boating here. Also the Royal family go trekking on the mountains around this lake. There are more than 6000 deers in this forest which you can see easily.

The above picture shows the front view of the castle where the Royal family spend their holiday in scotland.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post which gives some information about the place where I live.
